Taped Seams
Seams are a weak point on clothing where moisture and wind can penetrate. That is why the seams on the inside of our products are sealed with tape. This tape is machine-welded onto the seam and closes it completely.

Textiles in the outdoor sector are usually treated with PFCs (polifluorinated chemicals) to make them water and oil repellent. These chemicals are controversial because of their harmfulness to both human health and the environment. We try to avoid them where ever possible.
MXM
Intense competitions and hard training sessions demand a lot from clothing. For this purpose we developed the HEAD Sportswear MXM (Moisture Transfer Microfibre) technology. These high-performing microfibres move sweat to the surface of the material where it is efficiently removed. This brings a cooling effect and allows the material to dry quickly.
IAM 2020
Based on the skier’s requirements we developed our own membrane – the IAM Membrane (Intelligent Apparel Membrane). The developers concentrated on achieving the perfect combination of elasticity, eliminating restrictions where outer material is concerned, and easy washability. The membrane is manufactured with a water column and breathability factor of 20,000/20,000.
